Food & Wine has brought together the best of the food and wine industry to its iconic festival in Aspen for 40 years, and now this premier culinary experience is branching out to Charleston, South Carolina.

Food & Wine, in collaboration with Southern Living and Travel + Leisure, will host this new Food & Wine Classic in Charleston over one long weekend from September 27 to 29, 2024. Presented by Explore Charleston, the festival will feature world-class chefs, top local talent, wine and food tastings, seminars, demonstrations, local tours and much more.

"I am excited to be partnering with my colleagues at Southern Living and Travel + Leisure to build on the storied legacy of the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen and introduce this singular experience in a new destination," said Food & Wine Editor in Chief Hunter Lewis. "No other place shares a blend of hospitality, foodways, culture, architecture, and history like the Holy City, and I can't wait to see this dynamic new event come to life there next fall. A huge thank you to Charleston for welcoming us in a big way."

Charleston is home to many celebrated chefs, and the festival will highlight the local restaurant scene as well as the culture and history of the charming Southern city.

Tickets for the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston will be available in Spring 2024, with updates available on the website. For a preview of the festivities to take place in Charleston, the 41st Food & Wine Classic in Aspen will take place from June 14 to June 16.
