According to the fine people at Yelp, the best pizza spot is in Pasadena, California—specifically Sapori Di 786 Degrees. This finding comes to us courtesy of Yelp’s annual pizza ranking, which lists the best spots for pies and slices in the U.S. and Canada.
To come up with this all-time list, the company “identified businesses in the pizza category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews.” The results are a mix of mom-and-pop restaurants, traditional wood-fired spots, by-the-slice favorites and popular family joints that have been slinging dough for decades.
Following Sapori Di 786 Degrees, known for its internationally inspired pies, is Chelsea, Massachusetts’s Ciao! Pizza & Pasta in second place, which one Yelper calls “the best Italian restaurant they’ve ever been to.”
