It all started last week as a one-day pop-up that turned into an all-weekend event: residents of College Park, a neighborhood in Florida, placed stuffed tigers, koalas, flamingos and more all around the area, effectively creating a "stuffed animal safari" for all walkers to enjoy.

Hoping to entertain kids and adults alike currently at home under quarantine, the College Park Neighborhood Association posted the idea on social media early last week and, immediately, loads of people decided to participate by hiding animals on trees, bushes, on their own front lawns and more. The result? A sort of safari-meets-scavenger-hunt project for all neighbors to enjoy.

Posting photos of the event on social media using the hashtag #CoPaSafari, the Florida neighborhood has inspired others all over the country to do the same, including folks in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and others in Bay Ridge, Maryland. Who knew mere walks around our neighborhoods could be this entertaining?
