Las Vegas is already looking ahead to 2026 and, if the city’s wedding officials are right, the year is shaping up to be a banner one for couples eager to tie the knot with a little numerical flair.

The self-proclaimed Wedding Capital of the World has released its predictions for the most popular wedding dates of 2026, drawing on decades of data from the Clark County Clerk’s Office to identify which days are most likely to draw thousands of couples to chapels, resorts and desert backdrops across Southern Nevada. The list blends so-called “magic dates” built around repeating numbers and palindromes with romantic holidays and playful cultural moments, underscoring why Las Vegas remains the go-to destination for both spontaneous elopements and meticulously planned celebrations.

February kicks things off with a cluster of highly sought-after dates, including 2/2/26, 2/6/26 and 2/26/26, along with Friday the 13th and Valentine’s Day. March continues the trend with 3/3/26, Pi Day on 3/14 and St. Patrick’s Day on March 17. April brings April Fool’s Day, April 20 and April 25, while May highlights include May the Fourth and Cinco de Mayo. June is packed with numerically satisfying options like 6/2/26 and two palindromes in 6/6/26 and 6/26/26, and July adds Independence Day and 7/11 to the mix. August’s standout is 8/8/26, a date where every number is divisible by two, followed by Halloween, Veterans Day and 11/11, as well as another Friday the 13th and New Year’s Eve.

“There’s something magical about choosing a wedding date that tells its own story, and 2026 has plenty of them,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya in a statement. “From numerical patterns to romantic holidays, couples know Las Vegas is the best place to celebrate those once-in-a-lifetime moments.”

There’s precedent for just how powerful these dates can be. The most popular wedding day in Las Vegas history remains 7/7/2007, when 4,493 couples were married in a single day, followed by 11/11/2011 with more than 3,100 ceremonies. More recently, 2/22/22 became one of the city’s busiest days ever, proving that couples are more than willing to plan their love stories around the calendar.

Beyond the romance and spectacle, weddings are serious business for Las Vegas. An estimated four percent of visitors travel to the city specifically to get married, generating roughly $3.3 billion in annual economic output and supporting about 18,000 direct jobs tied to the wedding industry. With more than 75,000 marriage licenses issued each year, Clark County continues to outpace anywhere else in the world in sheer volume.

What keeps couples coming back isn’t just the convenience or the quick paperwork, but the sheer range of possibilities: drive-thru chapels and Elvis impersonators alongside luxe resort ballrooms and dramatic outdoor ceremonies set against red rock canyons. Whether a couple is chasing a perfectly mirrored date or simply looking for a stress-free way to say “I do,” Las Vegas has turned the act of getting married into a cultural export—and in 2026, the calendar itself may be one of its biggest draws yet.
