Sample one-way fares on Allegiant include Chicago to Destin/Fort Walton Beach for $58, Austin to Orlando for $48 and NYC/Newark to Destin/Fort Walton Beach for $82. Flights to Vegas from cities like Austin, Des Moines and Grand Rapids are also on sale, as well as flights from Los Angeles to Kalispell, Montana—gateway to Glacier National Park. The only catch is that these low fares are for Allegiant’s Basic category, which only includes a personal item, no carry-on or checked baggage. But with fares like these, a last-minute minimalist getaway is worth it.
