Attention thrill-seekers: Michigan has another famous bridge that will get your heart pumping this summer. You've heard of the Mackinac Bridgethe longest suspension bridge in the Western Hemisphere—and now the state can boast about another world's longest. SkyBridge Michigan, the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge, is open daily for unforgettable summer adventures.

One of the many adventures you'll find at Boyne Mountain Resort, the 1,200 foot suspension bridge towers 118 feet above ground, suspended between the peaks of McLouth to Disciples Ridge. The bridge opened this past fall, and has seen a steady stream of visitors ever since. Now, long summer days mean more daylight to enjoy jaw-dropping views from this architectural wonder.

A scenic chairlift takes you to the top of the mountain, where you can grab a bite to eat at the Eagle’s Nest before heading out to walk the bridge. Get ready to snap some amazing pics, as there are panoramic views a-plenty. If you’re hungry when you make it to the other side, you'll find a food truck, outdoor fire pits for relaxing and on Saturday evenings, live music.

If you’re ready for a thrilling stroll between two towering peaks and can handle the dizzying heights, find tickets to SkyBridge here.
