If there's one thing we learned about ourselves in the past few weeks is that we, as humans, easily (and mostly unnecessarily) tend to panic. That dread has most recently manifested itself in rushes to the supermarket to buy dry goods, runs to the liquor store to stock up our at-home bars and, most crazily, endless orders on Amazon and Target to hoard enough toilet paper to literally last us a lifetime.

We understand that these are unchartered times and that the only thing we can really do is prepare for the worst. But, as the authorities keep on reminding us, there doesn't seem to be a shortage of food or basic needs. A suggestion: are we, perhaps, overestimating the amount of toilet paper, pasta and wine that we're actually consuming while in quarantine?

This handy little new website is here to help. WillWeRunOut.com is a simple calculator intended to help us gauge our product supply.

All you need to do is select the category that you're looking to analyze (toilet paper, wine, beer, pasta—developers are working on a coffee model as well), input the number of items you already own, enter the number you consume per day and include how many people live with you. Voilà! The site will tell you how long your supply will last and—when it comes to beer and wine—how much money you're actually spending when drinking each glass.

In terms of accuracy, the website assures us that it is "quite accurate," built on "industry studies, online averages and some 'very serious' testing."

So get calculating. We'll be right here, ordering some wine.
