Lines to get through security at the airport have had some unbearably long spikes this year, but a new partnership just made the process a whole lot easier. The Transportation Security Administration just announced that they’re teaming up with Google Wallet to make TSA PreCheck Touchless ID enrollment—and getting through security—a breeze.

Google Wallet is the first digital wallet partner for TSA PreCheck Touchless ID. This upgrade streamlines the Touchless ID opt-in process and allows travelers to sail through security using secure facial comparison technology. What started at just a handful of airports a few years ago has exploded, as Touchless ID is now available across 65 airports nationwide and works with over 100 airlines.

The integration is rolling out to Android phones (sorry, iPhone users) just in time for the peak of the chaotic summer travel season. Best of all, it costs absolutely nothing extra for eligible TSA PreCheck and Global Entry members. (Of course, those programs have their own registration fees, which run around $77 for PreCheck and $120 for Global Entry, each valid for five years.)

Previously, you had to manually upload your passport and opt in to Touchless ID for each individual airline. Now, once you add a digital ID to your profile, Google Wallet handles the heavy lifting in a few simple steps:

  1. Check in and add your boarding pass from a participating airline to Google Wallet
  2. Tap the “get started” prompt inside the wallet to head to the TSA consent page and opt in to Touchless ID
  3. Authorize sharing your digital ID and boarding pass info with the TSA

TSA will confirm your enrollment, and a shiny new Touchless ID indicator will appear on your digital boarding pass. It’s really that easy.

Once you’re at the airport, you get to skip the standard PreCheck lines for exclusive, dedicated Touchless ID lanes. Instead of handing over physical documents, you simply step up, let the TSA camera snap a quick photo to confirm your identity and keep moving.

Shaving precious minutes off the security checkpoint is a certified win for both frequent flyers and occasional vacationers. So keep your ID tucked safely away, hold onto that coffee and get ready to smile your way through security with Google Wallet.
