This time of year, reports start filing in as people assess the year in review. And Uber Eats has arguably the most interesting list: the most unexpected food combination requests.

As reported by Silive, people experienced some very funky cravings in 2022, and the drivers had to simply shrug and deliver them. The company creates an annual Uber Eats Craving Report, and while ‘normal’ combinations topped the list—such as burrito and cheese (#1), French fries and salt (#2) and cheeseburger and diced onions (#3), we’re here for the oddball pairings.

The number one unusual food combo request? Ham and cream cheese. That’s not crazy wild, though. The second entry on the list fulfills that duty: fruit roll-up and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Sounds like someone might be picking up the phone with something brewing in the uterus? And the third entry definitely makes us thinking this was a traveler on a nine month journey: pickles and whipped cream. We’re not judging: salty and sweet is a very legitimate craving.

Here’s the rest of the list:

4. Popcorn and pickle juice

5. Dark chocolate and tomato salad

6. Pizza and applesauce

7. Sushi and ranch

8. Peanut butter and pizza

9. Cheese and martinis

10. Watermelon and mustard

And although there was a rise in non-alcoholic cocktail deliveries (the reports says that orders for non-alcoholic beer, wine and spirits spiked—no pun intended—by 300 percent), this list of the most frequently paired food and alcohol is of interest:

1. Steak and margaritas

2. Pizza and White Claw

3. Burritos and margaritas

4. Chicken and Sangria

5. Wings and beer

Fun fact: of those collegians suffering from the munchies, Penn State students ordered the most late night orders on Uber Eats, followed by the University of Iowa, University of Illinois and Texas A&M.

Was it Lactose Intolerant Wednesday? The number crunching on this report permits the company to announce unusual findings, such as that on Wednesdays customers most frequently ask for dishes without cheese. And on Sundays, they prefer sauces on the side.

What else can you get from Uber Eats? If you’re in Toronto, cannabis.

But anything holiday-related? Oh yeah. You can get a Buddy the Elf Spaghetti meal kit from Hello Fresh.
