Will "resort bubbles" allow us to celebrate Thanksgiving like we used to?

The holidays are basically here.

Although travel numbers are on the rise, the upcoming holidays are going to be tricky. Families that live spread across the country might avoid getting together for Thanksgiving and Christmas given social distancing measures, safety and travel restrictions—that is, unless they decide to book a "resort bubble" in one of three Club Wyndham destinations across the country.

Club Wyndham, the largest vacation ownership club in the United States, came up with the pretty genius idea to offer extended families the chance to gather for Thanksgiving and pretend to still be living in pre-COVID-19 times through their "Quar-nucopia package."

The details: each immediate family will have to quarantine for 15 days in its own two-bedroom, apartment-like suite. Once the quarantine period ends on Thanksgiving, the extended family can actually get together and indulge in some turkey and gravy. Each single-family suite will come equipped with a kitchen, plus bedrooms, bathrooms and a living room. Guests will also be treated to a $250 gift card to be used to stock up the fridge in preparation for the holiday meal (yes, everything will be delivered to you and you won't actually have to go to the market).

In total, three destinations are offering the package: Club Wyndham Resort in Fairfield Bay, Arizona; Club Wyndham resort in Fairfield, Tennessee and Club Wyndham Shawnee Village in Delaware, Pennsylvania.

You've got until November 6 to book your stay and you'll have to travel by November 12. You can opt for a 16-day stay or an 18-day one (rates start around $2,100 for the former option).

Convinced? Make a reservation right here and start setting up that Thanksgiving menu.
