You can own this house for free if you don't mind living with ghosts

If you're in the housing market and don't mind sharing your new abode with a few spirits, there's a deal you might want to consider.

A home in Youngsville, Louisiana, is currently looking for a new tenant. According to Sylvia McLain, the real estate agent who spread the word on Facebook in early March, the small historical residence is actually available for free—yet, it is still on the market over two months after first hitting the scene.

This is where prospective homeowners need to pay close attention: The residence on Verot School Road from the '20s or '30s is supposedly haunted. When news about the financial win began circulating—a free house that needs to be relocated at the owner's expense, ultimately offsetting the freebie—people were intrigued, until they found out about the house in question.

The Vincent/Vallot/GrandView Nursery home might come with a few residents who never truly left. According to some news outlets, people claim that the two-story structure bears a resemblance to the Amityville Horror House on Long Island. However, others believe the spirits are friendly, so there's no need to worry about a few apparitions here and there. (Well that's reassuring, right?)

So, if you are indeed searching for your dream home, you're welcome. If you'd rather keep spooky situations to a minimum, check out these virtual tours of haunted attractions across the U.S that you can stop at any time. If you'd rather stick to online party games or virtual arcade games, we understand! (No judgment, folks.)
