Thanksgiving dinner is getting a serious upgrade at Time Out Market Vancouver.

For five days only, from October 8 through 12, more than a dozen of the Market’s kitchens are rolling out limited-edition dishes inspired by the holiday, which means you can celebrate with a Thanksgiving feast spanning everything from Mexican mole and Cambodian congee to Italian pasta and Korean-inspired donuts… and you don’t even have to clean the house to play host.

This is definitely not your standard turkey dinner

Among the highlights, Santo Taco is serving slow-roasted turkey mole with dried chiles, nuts, spices and dark chocolate, while Mee Bar is turning the bird into Cambodian congee with egg and chili oil.

PiDGiN has a turkey ballotine bao with bacon jam and cranberry sauce, and Pasta e Basta is making turkey and ricotta tortellini with roasted squash, sage brown butter and walnuts.

There’s plenty for anyone who wants to stray even further from tradition, including Peacock’s lamb kofta in fenugreek masala, Barnacle’s lobster mac and cheese, Heritage’s braised Mei Cai pork belly and DownLow Chicken’s gloriously over-the-top Turkey Drum Holiday Plate with gravy, mac and cheese, crispy Brussels sprouts and stuffing.

And you’ll want to save room for dessert: Via Tevere is making pumpkin pie cannoli, España has an apple cinnamon Basque cheesecake, Beaucoup Bakery is bringing apple pie croissants and mochi pumpkin pie, and Mello has both an Injeolmi donut and apple-and-cream-filled Grateful Apple Donut.

Even the drinks are dressing for sweater weather, from BOBA RUN’s Apple Pie Hojicha Latte to a Pumpkin Spice Latt-ini and booze-free Cransgiving at the Time Out Market bars.

The special menu disappears after October 12, so consider this your call to gather all your friends and family and order the house down. Plus, no dishes!
