Good movies here, but a ridiculous list. "Anchorman" above "His Girl Friday" and "Duck Soup"? You are idiots.

No "Philadelphia Story"? That's No, 1.

Whoever put this together has no business putting things like this together.

The fact that Step Brothers and Kingpin didn't make the list gives this no credibility in my opinion. Just clickbait crapped together.

How are The Gods Must Be Crazy I & II not on this list?

In which the English act as if they've ever done anything funny in their entire lives (besides Borat). What an awful, disgusting list. I like you English, but you don't know funny, no you don't.

Spinal Tap, GOOOD, SO NOT FUNNY. I can't even watch that AWFUL, CRAPPY MOVIE. Take. It. Out. Plbbsshh!

What?!?! No "It Happened One Night," one of the only comedies to ever get the Academy Award for best picture (and it also swept the main 5 categories).

Excellent list! Some great classics on this list. Many of these children or inexperienced movie viewers don't understand the greatest in some of these cults. I know it's subjective, but I think well over half of these movies should be on everyone's top 100 comedies. People seem to find comedy is cursing and nothing else. What happened to physical comedy? The one complaint I have is that there should be more Chaplin films on the list. Overall, great list! And thanks. I haven't seen Airplane! for so many years, so I went ahead and watched it again. Brilliant comedy! Probably my favorite for just laughs.

These are the best comedies in someone else's opinion. Obviously this list is subjective because of that reason. If you feel that something should be added, why don't you create your own list of best comedies? You're doing nothing productive by complaining about somebody's personal choices.

I am not sure who made this list, it is definitely in need of revision. What happened to Euro Trip, Without a paddle, Good luck Chuck, and The Ugly Truth? Also most of these are down right stupid, maybe the elicit a chuckle from me just because of the sheer stupidity, but they do not belong on the list of the best comedies!

A good list indeed. BUT (and excuse me if its on there and I missed it), any top comedies list isn't worth its salt if it doesn't have "Rat Race" on there.

i think that this list is very good, however i think there should be more modern movies on here. i love zoolander and other comical movies like that. But i think there should be more movies for different age ranges, such as teenagers and young adults. Thank you :)

This is actually a really good list, a lot of my favorites are on here, including Hot Fuzz, The Princess Bride, and A Fish Called Wanda. It also helped give me some good movies to watch.

I don't mean to be rude, I love White Chicks but definitely not a great MOVIE. In terms of comedy, I guess it makes me laugh but it's all just cheap material and jokes. We're The Millers, really? This is by far the best list of comedy movies I have seen so far.

Where's white chicks??? The list is incomplete. It deserves number 1.
