To celebrate the anniversary of Time Out becoming a free magazine, we're not just handing it out like we do every Tuesday – we're actually handing the reins over to you.
The edition published on Tuesday September 24 will be entirely put together by our readers – yup, one of you will even get to design the cover. It's your city and for one week only it's going to be 100 percent your Time Out.
So, if you've ever fancied reviewing a film, restaurant or show, this is your chance. If you've ever wanted to try something ridiculous in the name of journalism, then your moment has arrived. And if you're as perpetually unfortunate as Time Out's Michael Hodges, then your latest mishap could be the basis of your very own 1001 Things Not To Do in London column.

Applications close on August 22. Time Out's selection is final. By applying, you give us the right to publish the '100 words' you submitted as part of your application. We'll sort out how and what you might contribute if we select you. This is not a job application, nor is there any monetary prize on offer. But we think it'll be fun all the same!
