It may seem early, but it's already time to start thinking about next year's Governors Ball. Today, Mayor de Blasio, City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and Founders Entertainment confirmed that the fest will return to Randalls Island June 5–7, and a limited number of tickets are up for presale this Thursday, November 13, at noon through the Gov Ball website. Yes, the festival isn't till next freakin' June, and yes, you'll have absolutely no idea whom you're paying to see, but we've got to admit: The Ball does have a pretty solid track record when it comes to booking starry headliners. The festival lineup isn't announced until January, but we're already racking our brains about who might headline. Maybe a recently reunited group, à la Outkast? (Cough) Sleater-Kinney (cough).
