AIMEE WISE, an Atlanta resident, is the author of Word Clay, a book of poems and short stories, as well as of the memoir Of Human Clay: The Making and Breaking of a Nun. Her memoir describes the first 30 years of her life, including her Irish Catholic childhood in Philadelphia and her time as a medical missionary in Malawi. Her poems have appeared in Lilliput Review, The Sierra Nevada Review, The Journal of Poetry Therapy and elsewhere. Her most recent chapbook, Scattered Type: Old and New Poems, was printed in 2016.
