Identity vs. Identification: Empowering Women to Transcend Labels
All Are Welcome -- FREE Event.
Thursday, October 8
7:15p-7:55p

Labels are basically a method of identification. Christian, atheist, feminist, doctor, artist, Democrat, Republican, businesswoman, mother, etc. There’s nothing inherently wrong with labels—the human brain is designed to categorize and labels lend some order to society. The problem is that labels can often lead to stereotypes and limits on the fullness of identity. Join us for a candid discussion about assumptions, expectations, and ways to empower women in the 21st century.

Moderator: Amy Bray - Senior Counsel, Rubin Lublin, LLC.
Panelists:
Keisha Cameron - Founder and Chief Exchange Officer, The Exchange
Paola Mejia - Marketing Director, Que Pasa en Atlanta
