Yay! A few months ago I was introduced to the music of this Appalachian jewel and I have enjoyed listening to her albums on repeat since then. Now Sarah Louise is coming to The Mammal Gallery to perform for us.

"Sarah Henson learned to play guitar and banjo at the foot of the Black Mountains in North Carolina. Dark, modal banjo tunes and rural southern blues inspired her early work, which continues to evolve as she explores her own little wilderness. Her lush, hypnotic compositions recall rhododendron thickets and countless hours playing by her crackling wood stove."

She has just released her newest album 'Field Guide' and I am sure we will be graced by a song or two from it.

Who better than to play with Sarah Louise than our very own Moses Nesh. A young blues man, old time aficionado, and singer songwriter. Moses released his newest album 'The Beautiful Ohio' last year and it has become an instant atlanta classic for anyone to point an ear in its direction. Always a pleasure to hear this man's voice.

I'm( Lebo Jenkins ) gonna pick out a greasy round of tunes for us as well. Some olds, some news, a lonesome holler the banjo blues….

Shout out to Annükai: Clothing//Print//Design as always for being there with all technological needs. So much help.
