here is male and female in every one of us. The merge of Shiva-Shakti, the masculine and feminine energies, is the sun and moon coming together in our selves to form the soul. The soul has no gender. – Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati Lead by transgender yoga teachers Naga Giri and Amala Jaya, this support group meeting and yoga class is open to all who self-identify as queer, trans*, or anywhere along the variant sexuality and gender path, as well as their partners, friends and allies. The two hour meeting will start with a brief check-in, followed by a yoga asana practice. We will explore classical yoga poses, gentle breathwork and simple meditation as practical tools to help manifest balance and wholeness within. The meeting will end with an open discussion and Q&A. Let’s get together, create space for each other and share our diverse experiences, sweat a little on the mat and allow the path of yoga to illuminate our inner and outer awesomeness! No yoga experience necessary. Pay what you can: $1 – $20
