I.R.E. (Intello Rhythm Eclectic) brings a Progressive World sound out of Atlanta, Georgia. Fusing an eclectic array of Reggae, Rock, and Funk; each used in a unique and original way, mixed with influential song writing and unstoppable energy. I.R.E. is quickly becoming everyones new favorite band. I.R.E. has been together since 2009 and released their first album, Touch It in 2012. There is so much raw talent and many different styles being thrown into the equation that they touch it on many different levels.

Taste is the brainchild of singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Cates. More than just being the sum of his influences, the band’s sound has also been cultivated through a wide variety of experiences, including contributing guitar work to some of the biggest hip-hop albums of the past five years, constant time in the studio with the Grammy Award-winning JUSTICE League production team, writing, contributing lead vocals on their latest project “Lazy Americanz”, and performing at the legendary Red Rocks amphitheater in 2014.

Taking cues from modern production techniques as well as masters from decades past, the Taste sound is eclectic, bold, and uniquely funky. Currently at work in the studio, the collection of songs being recorded for the band’s debut EP recall the neurotic grooves of Talking Heads, impassioned vocal performances reminiscent of Bowie, Gabriel, and Tears for Fears, guitar work that runs the gamut from Studio 54 disco chank to shredding leads, swirling modern synth soundscapes, and the heavy hitting drums of modern EDM.

With their EP set to drop this summer, Taste is getting ready to set stages on fire, just like in the lyrics to their first single, “The World is a Dancefloor”. A disillusioned indictment of our modern times set to a pulsing groove; the single provides just one “Taste” of the musical direction the band is heading.
