Rochelle Jordan - http://iamrochellejordan.tumblr.com/ Hailing from the Eastside of Toronto, singer/songwriter Rochelle Jordan is a pivotal figure in the future sound of R&B /POP; a transcending force, Rochelle is known for lacing tracks with uncommon melody, lyrics and vocals that resonate worldwide. Vibe heavy, innovative yet throwback inspired, Rochelle has cultivated fan base from the start with past full length releases titled ROJO and PRESSURE. The results included critical acclaim from MTV UK to Vibe Magazine, countless blogs and award nominations including Sirius XM, and BBC airplay. UK recording artist Jessie Ware took notice and in 2013 invited Rochelle Jordan to serve as main support for her first U.S. Tour. After relocating to Los Angeles, Rochelle wrote & performed on Childish Gambino’s “Because The Internet” with the single Telegraph Ave. Soon after, Rochelle charted number 1 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound in early 2014 with the single “Follow Me”, produced by KLSH. After teasing fans with a snippet of new music produced by Illangelo (Drake, The Wknd, Florence & The Machine), Rochelle released the KLSH produced single “LOWKEY” , and garnered serious accolades. The momentum continued with the release of “BACK IN THE DAY” and recent collaboration as guest feature vocalist on a dance record by Canada’s own Cyril Hahn called “SLOW”. Look for the build up to continue as Rochelle’s wealth of new material surfaces with new full length projects in fall of ‘14 and spring of 2015.
