Sc&Beer Presents Climate Denier Variety Hour says
Laugh until you cry, or cry until you laugh? WHY NOT BOTH?

Join us for a special edition of Sierra Club & Beer on November 19. SC&B is hitting the road with a variety show to provide some comic relief after the EPA hearings on the Clean Power Plan.

When the heat waves, droughts, and storms made more intense through climate disruption are at our door, but the politicians who decide on our energy policy outright refuse to acknowledge (1) climate change or (2) that we can and should do something about it, sometimes you just want to cry. But you’ve got to admit that these same politicians and their special interest friends in the dirty energy business also say some hilarious things, usually when they don’t mean to.

Here’s to keeping our spirits up with on-point comedy and solid grooves when climate deniers have got us down..

Unwind with us at on Nov. 19 with a FREE show!

Come for hilarity and great tunes, featuring:
- Comedy from members of Dad's Garage Theatre Company and Village Theatre
- Music from Rad Giraffe
- DJ sets from Divine Interface

Doors open at 6 PM
Show starts at 7 PM

And come find out how to get involved with:

- Defending the merits of clean, equitable energy at Nov. 19-20 EPA hearings on the Clean Power Plan
- The People's Climate March Atlanta 2015, on Sunday, Nov. 29 (just before the 2015 United Nations Paris Climate Conference, known as COP21, where UN representatives will aim to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, with the goal of keeping global warming below 2°C).
- Stopping pipelines that would take fracked natural gas and petroleum products across our state
- And more!

All are welcome! Some of us will be relaxing after a day defending clean energy at Environmental Protection Agency hearings.

[Every other month, Sierra Club and Beer provides a space and great beer for meeting like-minded people, while learning a little something new. Usually the schedule includes trivia and an interesting speaker, but this month we’ll take a break from the usual format.]
