Secondhand Swagger is more than a name; it's a lifestyle. We're an Atlanta-based band with a passion for vintage sounds and style, disciples of soul music from the 1960s and 70's. Our mission is to keep this music alive and people dancing, taking it back to a time when lyrics and melodies came from the heart with a wink and a laugh.

Secondhand Swagger was just a dream when Abby Wren (vocals) and Scott Bryan (drums and vocals) got together in 2008, spending every Sunday for a year in a song-writing sojourn. Secondhand grew member by member and the family now includes Dane Skelton (sax), Rob Lane (guitar), Tiffany White (keys) and Larry Thomas (bass).

We believe we're soulmates brought together to keep this vintage sound alive. Join us on the journey. The only thing you have to do is listen...

If you ask The Rooks about the origin of their sound, chances are they’ll concoct a tale of Frank Ocean, J Dilla, and the Talking Heads getting drunk at a dive bar in the year 2023, while Justin Vernon waits in the car to drive everyone home. Push them to be a little more specific (and a little less confusing), and they’ll tell you that The Rooks are equal parts kick-back, head-knock, and get-down; the music you rock to at the party, and the perfect soundtrack for the ride home.

A transplant from the Wesleyan University music scene, The Rooks have spent the last four years making noise across New York City and the greater Northeast, gaining substantial recognition for their debut EP, Something You Can Take (May 2013), follow-up single "Twister" (Jan 2014) and most recent releases "Secrets" and "Intermission (Wires)" (both premiered on Okayplayer).

Johnny Awesome is a new Refreshing Rock band with their souls set on "making it" in music. They have been a group since Autumn of 2007 and have been working hard at creating music that satisfies not just the ears, but the soul. From house shows to various venues in the city of Atlanta, they have been preparing for their dream of becoming a successful performing band.
