On Wednesday, June 22nd from 5-6:30, we'll host a #Summertime #HappyHour and book signing for three writers of contemporary women’s fiction, #EastCobb’s own Wendy Wax, in company with Kim Boykin and Kim Wright, both from Charlotte NC.
Wendy Wax is the author of more than 10 novels, including USA Today bestselling House on Mermaid Point. In SUNSHINE BEACH, Wax continues the adventures of Maddie, Avery, and Nikki, first introduced to readers in Ten Beach Road and is the fourth book in that series. In Sunshine Beach, they tackle a plethora of personal challenges, a run-down beachfront hotel, and even a possible murder – all while they attempt to film their restoration efforts.

LAST RIDE TO GRACELAND, by Kim Wright, is a novel of self-discovery in which one woman sets out for Graceland hoping to answer the question: Is Elvis Presley her father? When Blues musician Cory Ainsworth discovers Elvis Presley’s Stutz Blackhawk, its interior a time capsule of the singer’s last day on earth and a priceless piece of rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia, hidden away in a shed out back of the family’s coastal South Carolina home, she yearns to uncover the secrets of her mother’s past—and possibly her own identity. A respected travel writer, Wright is also the author of the bestselling family guide Walt Disney World With Kids.
Kim Boykin’s just-released thriller, ECHOES OF MERCY, is set in her home state of South Carolina. It follows the perils Billie Warren faces when, as police chief of her Low Country hometown, she struggles to be a good mother to a teen mom and a good daughter to her own Alzheimer’s-afflicted mom, while she also tries to uncover her town’s dangerous, long-buried secrets. Kim's books are well reviewed and, according to RT Book Reviews, feel like they’re being told across a kitchen table.

We hope you can join us for the fun event with games, door-prizes, refreshments, snacks & books! Please RSVP by June 21st by calling 770-427-4848. We look forward to spending time with y'all!!
