Sunday Assembly Atlanta says
Sunday Assembly on SUNDAY MORNING AT THE PLAZA THEATER (different time, different location! take note).

Make new friends from all around the globe, as members of the international Sunday Assembly organization join forces with the local Atlanta community to Celebrate Life Together in an epic interactive performance at the historic Plaza Theatre on Sunday, May 31, at 10:30 am.

This will be the conclusion of an incredible weekend after Atlanta hosts A Conference Called Wonder (see aconferencecalledwonder.com) Comedian Sanderson Jones hosts an all-star line-up of speakers and musicians as we laugh, sing, and dance in celebration of the one incredible life we each lead!

This wheelchair-accessible event is FREE and open to the public.

Bring your friends and stay for lunch! The assembly will be immediately followed by a community potluck for all! Members, please bring extra food! Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be available.

YOUNG KIDS – We will have an area at the back of the theater labeled Kids Club with some basic children’s equipment where parents can base themselves with their kids and still be part of the show. We need you to look after them at all times. We are relaxed about marauding toddlers, but would love it if parents would try to keep noise levels under control and consider distracting babies by taking them for walk outside the theater, especially during the moment of reflection towards the end of the show. Please ask one of our volunteer helpers if you need assistance in any way.

What is Sunday Assembly?

The Sunday Assembly is a life-celebrating congregation without deity, dogma, or doctrine. Our motto: Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More. Our mission: to help everyone find and fulfill their full potential. We are here for everyone who wants to:

Live Better. We aim to provide inspiring, thought-provoking and practical ideas that help people to live the lives they want to lead and be the people they want to be.

Help Often. Assemblies are communities of action building lives of purpose, encouraging us all to help anyone who needs it to support each other.

Wonder More. Hearing talks, singing as one, listening to readings and even playing games helps us to connect with each other and the awesome world we live in.
