Timeslips: A Story Circle Workshop

Presented by Sandglass Theater, Putney, VT Wed, Mar 18, 2015, 7pm - 9pm onsite and recorded for online viewing LEVEL: beginner to advanced Join Sandglass Theater as they lead us through TimeSlips, the storytelling process that inspired D-Generation: An Exhaltation of Larks. Timeslips is a creative way of storytelling for people with dementia. TimeSlips was created as a specific form of story circle that helps people with dementia come out of their shells and relate to other people, and to their own creativity. It is specific to people with dementia, in that there are NO WRONG ANSWERS to the questions asked. For more information on Timeslips visit www.timeslips.org. This process is being used more and more by theater makers as a way to create theater. Join Sandglass as they lead us through the storytelling process of TimeSlips. This workshop does NOT certify you to go out and practice. It is meant to encourage you to dig deeper into the process and find out more.
