Unicef At Georgia Tech Hunger Banquet

Time Out says
Life isn’t fair – and neither is this. At the UNICEF Hunger Banquet, the place where you sit, and the meal that you eat, are determined by the luck of the draw – just as in real life some of us are born into relative prosperity and others into poverty.
In this event, you will draw a ticket that will assign you to join one of three groups (level 1,2 or 3). Level 1 represents communities with high income, level 2 represents communities with medium income, and level 3 represents communities with low income. Participants from each level will be served with a different meal based on the level they are assigned in.
In addition to that, you will hear about hunger and poverty from different speakers who have dedicated their lives to help people and have worked in the field for a very long time.
There will be speakers from UNICEF, Atlanta and the United Nations Young Professionals, Atlanta. This will also be an excellent networking opportunity for anyone who is interested in community service and making a difference.
Also, free food! (Not Pizza!)
