Yin Flow : Shaky Knees says
Our Yin Flow series is designed to address tension in the connective tissue of the body with a 40 minute yin practice, followed by 20 minutes of vinyasa flow -- taking you deeper into postures and allowing you to move more freely in transitions between. A regular yin practice can have considerable impact to chronic tightness and inbalances caused by overuse. It's best to come cool (though we won't judge you if you come for Mindful Hot and stay for a little relaxation) so that we tap less into muscular length and more into fascial tension.

This practice has instruction with prop suggestions but is otherwise a relatively quiet, fertile ground set to a weekly music back drop that focuses on a single artist, album or theme. This week...we recap Shaky Knees. Phoenix, Warpaint, the XX, Ryan Adams, Sylvan Esso, and MORE. It's a summer festival within the walls of East Atlanta.

By fusing art with movement, we inspire a deeper, less cerebral connection to our energetic bodies. As our asanas address the tightness of the body, our connection to art and sound will address tightness in our mind -- helping to awaken our creative juices and inspire less rigid thinking & the courage to step outside of your comfort zone.

Space is capped at 20 students for this class so grab a spot early!
