If you’re having an end-of-year crisis (yep, it’s already November), then perhaps it’s time to pack your bags and book an impromptu trip. You’ll want to act fast though, as Qantas has just dropped a mega sale with discounts on more than one million seats to 60 Aussie destinations. Trip to Kangaroo Island or Byron Bay, anyone?
You’ve got only one week to snap up seats, with Qantas' Red Tail sale launching on November 6 and ending just before midnight (AEDT) on November 13. Flights are up for grabs for travel between January 5, 2026 and September 17, 2026, meaning you could sneak in a last-minute summer getaway (or start planning for something epic next year).
Fares start from just $99 one-way, with more than 60 dreamy locations to choose from – and 30 routes going for under $150. Think Sydney to Byron Bay (Ballina) or the Gold Coast; Brisbane to Hervey Bay or Sydney; Melbourne to Launceston or Adelaide; Hobart to Melbourne or Sydney; and Adelaide to Kangaroo Island.
Those travelling from Perth can explore their own backyard with flights to Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Broome starting from under $270 one-way. Meanwhile, Darwin jet-setters can nab flights to Brisbane and Cairns from around $249, with plenty more routes up for grabs.
