Time Out says

Next Door is another amazing speakeasy that opened this year in Boston. Located in Eastie, just a short walk from the Maverick T stop on the Blue Line, it is accessible no matter which neighborhood you live in. The entrance is just behind Pazza on Porter, and you must know the secret code to get in. Once you enter, you feel as if you have stepped back in time. The chic bar and over the top cocktails make it a wonderful place to spend an evening.

Boston’s Hidden Cocktail Experience

Boston's hidden-bar scene is best enjoyed with a little less wandering and a little more guidance. This ticketed cocktail experience takes guests through some of the city's tucked-away drinking spots, turning the search for a good bar into the point of the night. That makes it a useful choice for anyone who knows the usual downtown circuit but still hasn't cracked the code on Boston's speakeasy-style rooms. The city has plenty of these deliberately obscure bars, from tiny cocktail counters to places concealed behind unmarked doors, so the appeal here is getting a curated introduction rather than spending half the evening guessing which entrance is actually the entrance. Just don't come expecting a historical tour with a cocktail thrown in. The focus is the drinks and the hidden-bar format, which makes this better suited to curious drinkers than anyone looking for a conventional bar crawl.
