Boston Harbor Distillery opened a new bar at Boston Logan Airport

Local spirit maker, Boston Harbor Distillery just announced the opening of a new location, but you’ll need a boarding pass to visit! Now open in Terminal E, at Boston Logan Airport, Boston Harbor Distillery will be serving up locally made whiskey, small batch gin, rum, decadent liqueurs and even distilled beer from Sam Adams. Travelers leaving Boston can have one final taste of the city before flying out. 

What is Boston Harbor Distillery known for?

Founded in 2012 by Rhonda Kallman, Boston Harbor Distillery makes whole-grain whiskey and other inventive spirits. Over the past decade Kallman has assembled a world-class team assuring everything from sourcing ingredients and production to customer service at their tasting counter is top-notch. 

Where did Boston Harbor Distillery open its newest location?

Now open in Terminal E, past security at Boston Logan Airport, travelers will be able to grab a drink made with Boston Harbor Distillery spirts, look for them between Gates 13 and 14. 

What is on the menu at the new location at Logan?

The new Boston Harbor Distillery airport location will offer a breakfast menu until 10:30am including specialty breakfast cocktails like The Maple Cream Espresso Martini made with Boston Harbor Distillery maple cream liqueur, house-made vodka, New England coffee and pure vanilla. 

Travelers can get a taste of Boston Harbor Distillery’s whiskey on the dinner menu, the chicken wings made with Demon Seed Whiskey BBQ sauce are a must try. Sit at the bar and enjoy a specialty cocktail, we recommend the Putnam Barrel Aged Old Fashioned, or try any or BHD spirits, all will be available.

Where is the original Boston Harbor Distillery?

Open in 2015, The Port is located on Boston Harbor on the southernmost waterfront in the Neponset section of Dorchester. Built in one of the last remaining mill buildings in the Boston area this huge open space is now the proud home of the Boston Harbor Distillery. The Port was voted the Boston’s Best “Outside-the-Box Venue” in 2023. 

When is the Port Open?

The Port is open on Saturdays from 3-8pm for tastings and tours. They frequently have live music and fun events so be sure to check out their events calendar. Monday through Friday they are open 10am-4pm for mercantile sales only.
