As part of the City of Boston's just-launched 2020 Summer Food Truck initiative, a variety of inviting food trucks have been given access to 23 neighborhood locations. The initiative, an effort to help yet another struggling segment of the restaurant industry get back on its feet, sees trucks setting up at spacious parks, empty schools and well-positioned playgrounds on designated days from noon to 7pm. All trucks must adhere to updated regulations, including frequent cleaning and limiting the use of cash.

Here are the locations and vendors we're most looking forward to, including some of the best food trucks in Boston:

Charlestown: Doherty playground, St. Martin St: The Bacon Truck (Fri)

Chinatown: Eliot Norton Park, 8 Oak St: WingGawdz (Fri)

Dorchester: Brunswick-King play area, 81 Intervale St: Cousins Maine Lobster (Sat)

Fenway: Museum of Fine Arts, Forsyth Way: WingGawdz (Wed), Rolling Gyros (Thu, Sat), Zaaki (Sun); Museum of Fine Arts, 4 Museum Rd: Tandoor and Curry on Wheels (Tue, Wed), Cousins Maine Lobster (Thu), Zaaki (Fri)

Jamaica Plain: Arboretum, 99 Bussey St: Rolling Gyros (Wed), WingGawdz (Thu), Chicken & Rice Guys (Sat)

Stay tuned to Time Out Boston for all the latest news on The Hub's dining scene as it opens back up.
