The Hub has welcomed its first Taco Bell Cantina, located in the heart of Boston University's campus at 872 Commonwealth Ave. Taco Bell opened its first Cantina—which, in addition to alcohol, serves apps as well—in Chicago back in 2015, and there are now more than a dozen nationwide.

Unlike the drive-through models you’d find in suburbia, the Cantinas boast features like self-service kiosks, mobile apps for placing orders and delivery through Seamless.

Not long ago, the chain announced how it is ditching more menu items, including the Mexican Pizza. And now, you can gift tacos to your friends using the chain's app.

Stay tuned to Time Out Boston for all the latest news on the Hub.
