Whether you’re ready to embrace the cozy season or not, fall is right around the corner, so it’s time to make those final, last minute summer plans. One thing almost everyone on the coast wants to do is get out on the water, but of course, not everyone has access to a boat.

Enter Boston’s own Classic Harbor Line, a local company operating charters and tour boats in the Boston Harbor.

Classic Harbor Line offers cruises around Boston Harbor year-round on the yacht Northern Lights as well as seasonally on the Schooner Adirondack III. The Northern Lights is a classic, comfortable yacht, with a mahogany bar and beautiful decor. The Adirondack III is a modern, all-wood schooner with historical accents, yet comfortable for passengers.

You can book a brunch or evening jazz cruise on the Northern Lights with your special someone or a group of friends. The company offers a variety of themed cruises, including a barbecue and beer series, sunset champagne cruises, holiday cruises, and more. The captain will always point out sights around the harbor, including the harbor islands and USS Constitution.

The Schooner can also be booked for day sails, sunset sails, day sails with mimosas and a turnaround sail that will have you floating right by the USS Constitution. Both boats are also available for private chargers, with the Schooner holding 40 people and the Northern Lights with a capacity of 149. Food can be arranged on both, with the Northern Lights hosting buffet style meals for up to 135 people. Both boats offer bar packages as well, with the Northern Lights having a full operating bar on the lower floor of the boat, and we can all agree cocktails taste a lot better on the water!

Prices for ticketed cruises start at only $48 per person, and go up depending on duration and food options. You can book a ticket on their website, or call for more information about a private cruise. The company strongly suggests purchasing tickets in advance. All cruises leave from Rowes Wharf, by the Boston Harbor Hotel, and be sure to get there and check in at least 15 minutes before your cruise!
