Voice of Boston is our series where we interview local tastemakers on their favorite neighborhoods, restaurants and hangouts around the city. If you missed our last one, read our chat with Colton Coburn-Wood, Executive Chef at Cosmica. This week we are hopping on a bike and hearing from Alyssa Pannozzi the Director of Talent at Rev’d Indoor Cycling.

Alyssa Pannozzi is a full-time trainer and the Director of Talent at Rev’d Indoor Cycling. When she is not on the bike, she’s creating content for big brands, chasing around her 3-year-old daughter and recording podcast episodes with her husband for their START NOW Podcast.

What are your favorite neighborhoods in Boston?

I have really grown to love Back Bay! Walking down Boylston and seeing the Boston Marathon finish line always makes me feel an incredible sense of Boston pride. Growing up, I loved the North End and all of the history involved. Not to mention the food.

Where do you go for a late night bite?

Let’s be honest here… Tasty Burger!

In general, what are some of your favorite restaurants and bars right now?

The patio at Earls in the Prudential Center, Tavern in the Square, and anything by the TD Garden … LOVE the new vibe there by Big Night Live.

Name a “hidden gem” where you always take friends or family when they are visiting from out of town?

What do you think is the best thing about Boston right now?

Fitness 😉 but really… seeing a community of like-minded humans come together to sweat and work hard. We didn’t have our Rev’d studio in the city until right before the world shut down, so it’s been incredibly inspiring to see people start to show up for themselves (and others) again.

What do you think is the worst thing about Boston right now?

The unpredictable weather (how is it possible that it’s 60 degrees one day and 0 the next?) and the slow, slow green line!

Where is your favorite place to go for a walk in the city?

Boylston and Newbury.

What is your go-to Dunkin Donuts coffee order?

Large iced with extra oat milk and blueberry.
