What to drink at Time Out Market Boston: The lowdown on the best cocktails

At Time Out Boston, we cover the city’s bar scene with as much scrutiny and passion as we do for the dining scene. That’s because we know that a truly spectacular watering hole is fast becoming a rare and treasured thing. Keeping in line with Time Out Market’s mission to bring the best of the city under one roof, Time Out Market Bar's beverage program highlights the people and places that make Boston a world-class city. 


While taking inspiration from the menus and beverage programs of the market’s chefs, Time Out Market Bar serves up unique cocktails alongside a curated list of food-friendly wines and an all-star, all-local beer list. There are two bars conveniently located at opposite ends of the market, and with its killer eats and ample space to stretch out, Time Out Market is the best place for getting drinks with friends before or after a Fenway Park event. (The bars close at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.)

Chai Roller: Chai-infused Jack Daniel's, persimmon puree, lemon juice

Proper Parrish: Luxardo sour cherry gin, lime, simple syrup

Tomb Raider: Privateer Rum (exclusive blend for Time Out Market Bar), Bénédictine, Angostura, orange, Peychaud's Bitters

Devil's Advocate: El Jimador tequila, Xicaru Mezcal, Velvet Falernum, grapefruit, lime, Hellfire bitters 

Smoke Show: Xicaru Mezcal, Cynar, cinnamon simple syrup, apple cider, orange bitters

Red Wedding (winter sangria): Frontera merlot, Cointreau, citrus juices

Honey, I'm Home!: Spring 44 honey vodka, lemon, rosemary simple syrup, spiced cranberry bitters, tonic

Muddy River Martini: St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur, Milk & Honey cream liqueur, Caffè Borghetti, crème de cacao, cardamom bitters

Cinn-er or Saint: Sagamore Spirit rye, cinnamon simple syrup, maple syrup, lemon, Angostura Bitters


Non-alcoholic cocktails are trending right now; at Time Out Market Bar, you can enjoy a cocktail experience minus the booze with these drinks:

Rosemary lemonade: House-made lemonade, rosemary simple syrup, vanilla

Warm apple cider (available with Blackwell Rum)

Spiced citrus punch: Chai tea, nutmeg, simple syrup, lemon, lime and pineapple juices (available with Bulleit Bourbon)
