October 1 was National Pumpkin Spice Day. Regardless of whether you were aware of that or not, I think we can all agree that October is the official start to all things fall one way or another. PSLs have been a huge flavor of fall since 2003 when Starbucks launched their version. But here in Boston there so many local places to grab a pumpkin spice latte this year. These are a few of our favorites.

 1) Dunkin

Dunkin began celebrating fall early this year and has been selling PSLs since August 10th!

2) La Colombe Coffee Roasters

La Colombe is releasing a Pumpkin Spice Oatmilk Draft Latte on tap for the first time ever on October 1.  The Oat milk Pumpkin Spice Latte will feature “real pumpkin” flavor and their creamy oat milk that you find in their other draft lattes. The PSL is part of La Colombe’s new rotating on-tap series where new flavors will be releasing each season on the 4th tap.

 3) FRANK

Head north of the city to FRANK for a truly handmade version of the pumpkin spice latte.  The latte features house made pumpkin puree from Pastry Chef Erin Barry. Of course, it is chock full of fall spices like cinnamon, cardamom and clove. Combined with espresso from Little Wolf coffee, the pumpkin puree is really the star of this craft coffee drink. Guests can choose their favorite type of pf milk to have steamed for the latte and then pf course add some sugar or honey for some additional sweetness.

4) Time Out Market Boston

Last but not least, Time Out Market Boston is offering a Pumpkin Pie Martini for the October “Drink for a Cause”. For every Pumpkin Pie Martini sold, $1 will be donated to Community Servings, a local organization working to provide scratch-made, medically tailored meals to individuals experiencing chronic illness or nutrition insecurity.
