Are you ready for a three-day extravaganza of 'better-for-you' cooking, masterclasses, and next-generation wellness innovation this May?

Well, that's exactly what's in store at this year’s Good Life Show in Cape Town, running from 29 to 31 May at the CTICC 2.

In what is the sixth edition of the show, visitors will have access to 90+ expert talks, chef demos, health & wellness sessions, and more than 250 exhibitors, each of whom will showcase an array of products unique to Africa, including:

  • Exciting new ingredients: Think marula-infused creations and innovative plant-based proteins reshaping everyday meals.
  • Plant-based food that actually delivers: Discover dairy-free desserts, meat-free dishes, and chef-led demos that prove plant-based eating can be just as indulgent.
  • Smarter sips: Explore functional drinks, alcohol-free cocktails, and “sober-curious” options designed to boost energy and focus without the crash.
  • Organic pantry upgrades: Shop staples you’ll actually use at home, like cold-pressed oils, natural nut butters, and minimally processed grains that make everyday meals feel better.
  • Sustainability-focused fashion: Browse consciously made clothing and lifestyle pieces that balance style with lower-impact production.
  • Clean beauty and eco home finds: From natural skincare to easy, eco-friendly home products that fit seamlessly into your daily routine.

What to expect: Interactive experiences

While there will be so much to explore among the exhibitors, the action is being ramped up even further with a spotlight on premium interactive experiences at this year's show.

The Wild & Stirred Bar is set to take show attendees on a guided urban foraging journey to explore South African botanicals before crafting a bespoke cocktail with a professional mixologist.

In addition, the “Learning with Liquids” Masterclasses will offer high-energy, hands-on sessions led by top culinary and drinks talent, with guests mastering technical skills while exploring innovative, wellness-conscious (and equally delicious) drinks.

“Mixology Maven” Roxanne Read will headline the beverage section of the show, teaching visitors how to fuse raw aromatics and sustainable ingredients into conscious mixology.

What to expect: Theatre of Taste

In terms of the flagship activation taking place across the three days, all eyes will be on the Theatre of Taste culinary arena.

Nigerian food-content sensation Tolani Tayo-Osikoya – better-known as Chef T of Diary of a Kitchen Lover fame – is one of several global headliners who will bring their skills to the show.

Chef T will be joined by the likes of 'The Giggling Gourmet' Jenny Morris - the first South African to host her own show on the Food Network, South Africa’s farm-to-table movement pioneer Chris Erasmus, nomadic and heritage-based garden-to-plate advocate Chef Constantijn Handiek, and award-winning chef, forager, and sustainability advocate, Gregory Henderson.

Roushanna Gray, the force behind Veld and Sea, will give you a next-level wild-food foraging, nature-led perspective - with flavours you won’t find on a standard menu. Peter Goffe-Wood, MasterChef SA judge, adds serious culinary credibility, with a focus on bold, accessible cooking that still feels refined. While Luke Barry, as Executive Chef at the iconic Mount Nelson, brings a polished, contemporary take on classic flavours.

You thought that was all in the big name department? Think again... see this incredible line-up:
