Live are heading back to Cape Town this December for a show at the stunning Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on 8 December 2026!

Now, for those left a little confused by the headline, watch the below to jog your memory:

Spearheaded by lead singer Ed Kowalczyk, Live have been rocking audiences since 1984 following their formation in Pennsylvania, USA.

“South Africa has a very special place in my heart and the thought of coming back to play for our fans brings me great joy. I can’t wait!” says Kowalczyk.

With hit singles such as the above 'Lightning Crashes' and classics 'I Alone', 'Selling The Drama', and 'Overcome', fans are in for a real treat at Kirstenbosch, with their anthemic music set to sync perfectly with the natural beauty of the setting.

This is not Live's first tour of South Africa. I was lucky enough to see them at the Bellville Velodrome back in the early 2000s, where they put on a spectacular show. I'm sure we can expect nothing less this time around.
