The Centro Cultural de Cascais hosts, from 10 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, the exhibition “Árvores & Flores” by photographer Fátima Carvalho. The show brings together two of the artist's series for the first time: “Árvores Vigilantes do Tempo”, featuring black and white images of centuries-old and millennial trees on handmade paper and linen (some with interventions by painter Fernando Marques de Oliveira), and “Flores e Frutos”, which explores transformation and the passage of time through hand-embroidered photographs. The exhibition is part of the Bairro dos Museus programming and features texts by Cardinal José Tolentino Mendonça, Rosa Alice Branco, Maria do Carmo Serén and José Manuel Mendes.
