The Cascais Atlantic Sunsets electronic music festival confirms the American house veteran for its second date in Cascais.

There is another name set to get the Forte de Santo António da Barra in Cascais dancing this summer. Following the announcement of Kaytranada, the organisers of Cascais Atlantic Sunsets have confirmed American DJ Armand Van Helden as the second major attraction for the 2026 edition. The house veteran will perform on 15 August, closing the second of the two scheduled dates at the historic fort on the Cascais coast.
The festival, now in its second year, returns this summer with a more streamlined format. Unlike last year, when the gigs were split between the Cascais Marina and the Forte de Santo António da Barra, the 2026 action will focus exclusively on the fort. The monument, which is rarely open to the public, will serve as the backdrop for both dates of the event, scheduled for 8 and 15 August. It promises an intimate experience bringing artists and the crowd closer together, against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and the sunset.
Born in Boston with a rich cultural heritage spanning Dutch, Indonesian, French, and Lebanese roots, the DJ and producer has built a solid career based on constant reinvention. Throughout his journey, he has released dancefloor anthems such as “You Don't Know Me”, “My My My”, “Hear My Name”, and “I Want Your Soul”, seamlessly moving across styles like house, hip-hop, electro, and UK garage.
In its debut edition, Cascais Atlantic Sunsets brought top acts to the coast, including Jungle (performing a DJ set), RY X, Carlita, Parallelle, and MXGPU.
