This Saturday, July 5th, Cascais’ Praça d’Armas in the Cidadela is turning red, white and blue for the very first edition of BBQ Fest: The American Way – a full-day celebration of USA flavours and the Fourth of July.

With free entry and a relaxed, all-day vibe (from 1pm into the night), you can expect a star-spangled menu tailor-made for the occasion: New York-style pastrami (€18), Texan brisket (€16), Southern pork tacos (€14) and the iconic Philly cheesesteak (€16).

Sides include dill potato salad and coleslaw (€4 each), and the grand finale comes in the form of a classic banana pudding (€4). There’ll also be a Super Bock beer truck on site and live country music courtesy of Adam Khan to round off the stars-and-stripes party.
