Cascais hosts two new festivals: one for hip hop and the other for comedy

Both events take place in July at Parque Palmela. Kappa Jotta, Phoenix RDC, Deezy and Domingues are among the musicians who will be performing.

Parque Palmela in Cascais will host two new festivals during the month of July. From the 5th to the 6th, there will be an event dedicated to Portuguese hip-hop, while on the 19th and 20th of July, a comedy festival will take place.

The Cascais Hip Hop Festival announced its lineup on Thursday, May 2nd. Kappa Jotta, Phoenix RDC, Deezy, Domingues, Rony Fuego, Aragão, Salazar and Magnus Wise make up the lineup for the two days, with some "surprise guests" also promised. Daily tickets are on sale for between 20€ and 35€, while two-day passes range from 35€ to 55€. VIP packages include early entry to the venue, an exclusive comfort zone and a complimentary drink.

According to the organizers, around four thousand people are expected to attend the shows. There will also be dance and graffiti performances to complement the program.

As for the comedy festival, only the event dates have been revealed so far. One might say: he who laughs last, laughs best.
