After journeying from the lush Shire, traversing elvish lands, and reaching the shadowy dungeons of Mordor, the tale of hobbit Frodo Baggins and 'The Lord of the Rings' is set to unfold at Casino Estoril. The concert celebrating the saga is scheduled for April 17.
The Lord of the Sound symphony orchestra, accompanied by a choir, will bring to life the soundtrack of this iconic medieval fantasy trilogy that graced cinemas from 2001, based on the books by J.R.R. Tolkien.
This promises to be an epic journey through Middle-earth, from the cheerful and innocent melodies of hobbits to the ominous sounds of orcs, and the lyrical songs of the elves. Howard Shore's Oscar-winning soundtrack will take center stage for one night in Estoril.
