The gastronomic festival dedicated to open-fire cooking returns to Fiartil, in Estoril, once again for three days of good food and concerts. After Gonçalo Castel-Branco, its founder, decided to add an extra day last year, Chefs on Fire returns for a triple dose, from September 20th to 22nd. Among the announced chefs, those who stood out at this year's Michelin Guide gala are highlighted on the lineup: Vítor Matos, who earned two Michelin stars for Antiqvvm and one for 2Monkeys with Francisco Quintas, who will also be at the festival; João Sá (one star at Sála) and Rodrigo Castelo (one star and a green star at Ó Balcão).

João Sá was already part of the festival last year with a vegetarian peanut stew and Rodrigo Castelo is no stranger to these activities either: two years ago, he dared to roast a whole cow over the fire and it's known that Gonçalo Castel-Branco appreciates unusual situations.

With a Michelin star, Luís Brito (A Ver Tavira), Arnaldo Azevedo (Vila Foz) and Pedro Pena Bastos (Cura) are also confirmed – all three making their debut at the festival where all dishes prepared must pass through the fire.
