After winning over Campo de Ourique, the ice cream parlour Myka has headed to the Estoril coast. The new project has set up camp at the Cascais Marina in a van with an outdoor terrace, bringing monthly rotating flavours and the parent shop's best-selling toppings.

Myka's artisanal Greek yoghurt has found a second home in Portugal, this time overlooking the Atlantic. After making its Portuguese debut last year with a shop in Campo de Ourique, the Spanish-born brand has just settled in Cascais Marina. This new venture takes the form of a food truck and features a small outdoor terrace in one of the coast's busiest spots.
At Cascais Marina, the selection focuses on natural Greek yoghurt and two exclusive rotating flavours that change monthly: in June, for instance, the options were split between passion fruit Greek yoghurt, which balances sweetness and acidity, and a vegan raspberry sorbet, featuring a smooth texture and a fruity profile. To customise their bowls, customers can choose from a selection of the parent shop's best-selling toppings, such as the crunchy mykataifi, praline, artisanal granola from Going Nuts, various crumbles, dark chocolate, or purer options like olive oil and honey.
For Eduardo Costa, head of the brand's franchise in Portugal, the expansion comes as a logical and strategic step in the business plan, he states in a press release. He highlights that the Marina represented an excellent opportunity to reach a new target audience through a format perfectly tailored to the location's own dynamics and organic vibe, marking the project's first step towards growth on Portuguese soil.
