Spring takes a break starting this Monday, March 25, and shows no signs of life in the coming days. Low temperatures return, and the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) has issued several warnings for Cascais.

Until Tuesday at lunchtime, maritime agitation is under a yellow alert, with waves forecasted to reach up to five meters. This alert increases to orange (moderate to high-risk weather situation) on Wednesday, the 27th, with northwest waves ranging from five to seven meters, possibly reaching up to 12 meters in maximum height.

The wind will also not relent and is worthy of warnings from the IPMA in the coming days. Until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, there is a yellow alert with gusts of up to 80 km/h on the coast.

To top it all off, there's a forecast for rain, which is expected to persist at least until Easter Sunday, March 31st.
