The Teatro Entre Nós Festival marks its 10th edition in 2026 and, from 27 February to 20 March, will stage a series of performances – all with free entry – at Academia de Artes do Estoril, specifically at the Auditório Carlos Avilez.

Over the past decade, the initiative has stayed true to its mission of bringing theatre closer to the community, showcasing productions by non-professional theatre groups from across the municipality. It champions creativity, collaboration and the development of new audiences, while celebrating the dedication and hard work of local cultural and recreational associations.

For this anniversary edition, the programme features 14 shows, ranging from children’s and youth theatre to productions aimed at more mature audiences. Highlights include Nada é por acaso by Talaus Teatro of G.S.M. Desportiva de Talaíde, O Rececionista by Teatro Amador de Carcavelos, O Triunfo d’Amour by the Oficina de Teatro of G.M.D. 31 de Janeiro de Manique de Baixo, and Auto da Barca do Inferno by Teatro Musical de Carcavelos. Younger audiences are catered for too, with titles such as O Príncipe Nabo and Diz que é uma Espécie de Revista!, reflecting the range of stage experiences the festival brings to the community.

If you’re planning to catch a performance, the box office opens one hour before each show.

Academia de Artes do Estoril, Av. das Acácias 2 (Estoril). 27 Feb–20 Mar, various times. Free entry.
