The transformation of the Cascais Market into the Mercado da Vila (Town Market) brought a whole stream of restaurants to the complex, which spread out to fill the many empty spaces and which then went on to open their own terraces. The Gulli Italian restaurant is one of them, with a very large outdoor area covered by a huge canopy that also protects the fresh produce vendors from the sun - you’ll be glad it's there. The restaurant’s stars are the pizzas, the pastas and the risottos.
