Some go there for the fish and shellfish specialities, like the filetes de pescada com arroz de berbigão (hake fillets with cockle rice) or the bacalhau à lagreiro (cod in olive oil), but there is also a selection of fine meat dishes, including iscas à portuguesa (Portuguese-style pork liver), costeletas de borrego (lamb ribs) and, to round it all off, touchinho do céu (almond cake).
